Network Development

built provider networks in some of the most inhospitable markets in the
country - including pioneer development in HMOs in the early 1980's, and
development of the first Workers' Compensation networks in the late 1980's
- and have developed specialty networks with custom features for payors,
employers and health systems. Network development capabilities include
telephonic resources for high volume projects, in-market work by travel
assignment, or resident in-market Associates with standing medical community
relationships.
Market Development

Associates of Healthscape have developed HMOs, Physician
Practice Management, Home Health, Preferred Provider Networks, Internet
Healthcare Data, and Insurance companies in new markets. From feasibility
through opening day, a full package of analyses, inventorying, pre-marketing,
contracting, logistics, facility and planning services, staffing and more
are done off-payroll by accomplished development executives. Expert and
accomplished at start up operations, Associates have collectively built
dozens of new companies that remain vital today. Healthscape
Associates may remain available for management assignment to development
initiatives, maximizing use of expertise, and minimizing the client's
payroll, human resource and overhead exposures. Development office facilities
(incubators) are available in some markets.
New Business Development
Through its network of existing contacts, Healthscape may
represents and place a client's products or services. This representation
is limited to best of breed, and is exclusive per service type. A new
business development relationship may follow a successful market development
engagement (see above), and adds an additional, retained and senior marketing
resource for the client.
Facility Development
Starting with demographic analyses models,
pro forma's and market surveys for validation , Healthscape
can select sites, secure leaseholds, direct improvements or construction,
equip, pre-test and open primary care and occupational clinics or ambulatory
surgery centers. Bringing new health facilities out of the ground requires
the experience to develop and execute comprehensive sequenced task lists,
vendor selection criteria, troubleshooting programs and pre-opening training.
Associates are also skilled in turnkey development that provides the client
with policy and procedure manuals, recruitment and training of staff,
development of fee schedules and budgets, hospital managed
care contracting, and complete market development.
